AUSA Visit and Vietnam veteran pinning ceremony
It was a short but busy week as we kicked off the second regular session of the 103rd General Assembly on Wednesday!
We did the normal work of getting legislation filed and referred to committees, but the most rewarding part of the week for me was the visitors who stopped by.
It was a great honor to host the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) and 47 active-duty members from Ft. Leonard Wood on Wednesday. They came and toured the Capitol and it was very special to have them there when we honored two of our own with their Vietnam-era service pin.
As the session proceeds, expect regular updates from me about how everything is going. It’s an honor to serve you!
